What Personal Information does our FSP collect and how is it used?
You understand and accept that we process your Personal Information for purposes of providing you with Financial Advice as required by us in terms of the Financial Services and Intermediary Services Act. We only collect Personal Information that is reasonably necessary for us to provide this Service to you.
Is your Personal Information deleted when you terminate your business relationship with us?
Yes. When you terminate your business relationship with us there may, however, be some information that we are required to retain by South African law.
Do we retain your data for as long as we need it unless you ask us to delete it?
Yes. We will keep your information for as long as you are an active client of our FSP. We delete your information when you terminate your business relationship with us, but will retain some Personal Information for as long as we are obliged to do so under South African law. Yes. Our FSP’s staff are, however, bound by comprehensive confidentiality obligations.
