With our pharmacy solution, you’ll be able to see a nurse or pharmacist at your pharmacy’s clinic for treatment of a list of minor ailments, including but not limited to, colds and flu, stomach cramps and insect bites.
What does the Pharmacy Consutations benefit cover?
• Minor Ailments
• Consultation with a nurse or a pharmacist for most minor ailments including coughs/colds/flu and other aches and pains
• Advice and medication to treat the ailment
• Acute medication dispensed based on the outcome of the consultation (subject to a formulary)
Other Benefits
• Annual flu vaccination
• HealthCheck:
o Health assessments including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, body mass index (BMI), and smoking status; and
o A health report with your health assessment results, along with accompanying information on how to keep your numbers in check
• HIV testing (at selected pharmacies)
• Emergency Oral Contraception (EOC)
• Tetanus vaccination available (per member every 10 years)
