The entrant's attention is directed to these Terms and Conditions as they are significant and should be carefully reviewed. Nothing herein is intended to unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations established for either the entrant or the promoter under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("the CPA").
- The promoter of this competition is GetSavvi Health (Pty) Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa.
- For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, "social media" shall encompass Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and other social media platforms.
- All persons entering GetSavvi Health competitions agree that the competition rules as outlined in these Terms and Conditions are binding upon them.
- The promotional competition is open to all South African residents over the age of 18. Entrants cannot be juristic entities and must be individuals.
- This promotional competition opens on the advertised date and concludes on the advertised date ("competition period"). Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
- By submitting an entry to the competition, the entrant acknowledges having been given an appropriate opportunity to read these Terms and Conditions beforehand, and understands and agrees to them.
- To enter, participants must engage in the requirements stated in the competition promotion.
- The selection of the winner(s) will be at GetSavvi Health’s sole discretion and based on the criteria outlined in the promotion. Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and announced within the promoted competition period.
- Winners will receive prizes as specified in the competition promotion, which are not exchangeable for cash and are non-transferrable.
- The promoter will contact winners at the end of each competition cycle via social media or the mobile/cell phone number provided.
- Failure of the prize winner(s) to respond within two weeks after being contacted will result in forfeiture of the prize, and another winner(s) will be selected according to the rules.
- Winners must provide their name, ID numbers and contact details.
- GetSavvi Health reserves the right to use the winners’ images sourced from social media platforms for publicity purposes in any medium they deem suitable (within any social media platform). No remuneration will be payable to the winner(s). However, the winner(s) retain the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the GetSavvi Health.
- GetSavvi Health reserves the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice. In such an event, all participants agree to waive any rights they have regarding the competition and acknowledge they will have no recourse against the GetSavvi Health or its agents.
- If the prize is unavailable despite GetSavvi Health’s reasonable efforts to make available said prize, GetSavvi Health reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
- GetSavvi Health retains the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including, but not limited to, manipulation of code or data falsification.
- Applications from agents, third parties, organised groups, or computer-generated entries will not be accepted. Incomplete or corrupted entries will also be rejected. Entries must comply with all entry instructions.
- Participants are prohibited from using multiple email, cell phone, or social media accounts, or other tactics to exceed the stated entry limit, which may result in disqualification.
- This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed nor administered by Meta or any of its affiliates, including Facebook and Instagram. Participants acknowledge that they are providing information to GetSavvi Health and its agents only, not to Meta.
- This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed nor administered by any of the brands that are associated with the promotion.
- GetSavvi Health reserves the right to delete any participant-uploaded information deemed illegal, obscene, offensive, defamatory, or infringing on third-party intellectual property rights, or otherwise inappropriate for a mass audience entertainment campaign, at its absolute discretion.
- Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this competition and will not be disclosed to a third party without the participant's prior consent, in accordance with the GetSavvi Health's Privacy Policy.
- GetSavvi Health reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, with any changes posted on the website.
