Call Centre Operations Manager

GetSavvi Health is an exciting, growing medical insurance company owned by Workforce holdings. Our Company is looking for a Call Centre Operations Manager, with experience within an insurance environment to join our team. Minimum qualifications and experience:
• Minimum Grade 12
• RE 5 and Wealth Management qualification
• Relevant Diploma/Degree
• 5 years’ work experience in a managed healthcare/claims environment
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within Senior Management
• Excellent people skills
• Bilingual
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Good planning and organisational skills
• An astute, logical and motivated approach
• Good negotiating skills
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Outlook, Word etc.)
• Good understanding of managed healthcare processes
• Sound business relationship building abilities

Your daily activities will include:
1. Staff Management
• Performance: Manage Call Centre Team Leaders/Managers and departmental staff
• Employee relations
• Mobilize departmental staff with a view of reaching KPI’s and company targets

2. Call Centre Operations
• Drive performance of Call Centre
• Initiate preventative action/ take remedial action on exceptions in performance
• Effectively report on Call Centre operations
• Develop and implement plans to reach company goals and revenue target

3. General
• Liaise with IT Department regarding systems and telephony infrastructure and software
• Liaise with Human Resources Department on recruitment, staffing and all ER matters
• Liaise with Marketing Department on campaign drives for online and offline initiatives
• Liaise with Quality Assurance Department on call centre compliance matters
• Liaise with external stakeholders
• Implement strategic direction of Directors in the systematic and situational levels
• Implement effective front end and back end operations processes

4. Other
• Assist in development of new Training Manuals
• Monitor implementation of Team Leader/Manager training
• Structure optimal commission arrangements with Brokers
• Monitor SLA performance from external fulfilment centres
• Monitor actual income versus expected income and act accordingly
• Ensure FSB compliance followed (KI duties)
